THE ROLE OF FOREIGN CAPITAL IN THE NATIONAL BANKING SYSTEM OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION DEVELOPMENT

The article analyses the status and development trends of banking institutions with foreign participation in the Russian market, and the forms of their participation. The behavior of credit organizations with the foreign capital participation is based on the strategy of universalization, the problems (reduction of Bank profits, «long» money) and trends (increasing resource base, maintaining liquidity, implementation activities to strengthen and improve the banking sector) development of the russian banking system. Examines the background and issues of further foreign banks development in the Russian market. Highlighted advantages (cheap «long» money, accumulated of marketing policy, technical expertise) and difficulties in the functioning of credit institutions with the foreign capital participation in the domestic financial market.
