RESEARCH APPROACHES TO THE DEFINITION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

The article is devoted to the analysis of theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the essence of the concept «sustainable development» and in particular «sustainable development of industrial enterprises». Analysis of the problem of stability of the industrial enterprises showed that research in this area is quite intensive, but the attention of researchers focused mainly on the financial and economic aspects. Although sustainability is a complex category, which may not be a reflection of only one of the aspects of the enterprise. Many problems remained outside research: not a single opinion on categories such as «sustainability», «sustainable operation», «sustainable development» enterprises not resolved the question of the correctness of the use of the static term «sustainability» to dynamical systems, which does not allow to predict the stable functioning and sustainable development of enterprise. This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the essence of the concept of «sustainable development» and in particular «the sustainable development of the industrial enterprise».
