REGIONAL MARKETING AS A FACTOR OF RUSSIA’S REGIONS IN A MARKET ECONOMY

The author substantiates the necessity the use of regional marketing for the development of Russia’s regions in a market economy, and used a mix of marketing tools for regional marketing. In the regional marketing under the item refers to the total resource potential of the region, that is, the benefits and opportunities available to the region and the activities of regional authorities mainly aimed at meeting the social needs of the people of the region through the organization and provision of essential public services to the population, called the collective good. The absence of quantitative targets in the form of profit is a problem for marketing territories. An integral part of regional authorities in the framework of a regional marketing program for the development of the territory is active advertising of the region as a location convenient for the privacy of the individual and the organization of business facilities management. Region, functioning as a subject on the market, provides consumers with services to meet individual and collective needs of different social groups living in the region.
