ANALYSIS MAIN APPROACHES TO THE ASSESSMENT CONTRIBUTION OF TOURISM TO THE REGIONS`S ECONOMY (ILLUSTRATED PRIMORSKII REGION)

To determine the impact of tourism on the economy of the regions of the Russian Federation uses a comprehensive assessment of the contribution of tourism. Rate estimates of the contribution of tourism to the economy of the Russian Federation, including in the economy of Primorsky region is the most important from the point of view of justification for the direction of public and private investment in the tourism sector. The aim of the study is the measurement of the tourist flows using the mechanism accounting for the accommodation of tourists in collective accommodation to further assess the contribution of the hotel business in the tourism sector of the economy. This study was conducted on the example of Primorsky region. The study was wearing a solid character in the context of 34 municipalities of Primorsky region. Total general population was 485 collective accommodation facilities located on the territory of Primorsky region, including hotels - 195 units, recreation - 255 units, sanatorium-and-Spa institutions of 35 units. The study identified the indicators taken into consideration in the future to assess the contribution of tourism to the regional economy of Primorsky region.
