Projects in the field of information systems (it-projects) at the present time is a necessary element of continuous improvement of activities of any company. Especially topical application of modern information systems appears to be to ensure the activities of communication and telecommunication systems. The introduction of specialized software is associated with high costs, many of which are poorly formalizable. Accordingly, you must use specialized techniques to analyze costs in projects on Informatization. One of such methods is the method of calculating the total cost of ownership, the peculiarities of which and its application to the project on introduction of specialized information systems, Telecommunications and Data Warehouse (production IBM) and will be discussed in this article.
