The article is devoted to the development of a system to improve the effectiveness of financial incentives for teachers of educational institutions of higher education. The proposed payroll faculty of the University be divided into three components: the Foundation of a fixed portion provided on payment of the teaching load, the Foundation of the variable portion allotted for the payment of teachers ‘ loading in the second half of the day, and Fund incentive payments designed to motivate the teaching staff on the achievement of indicators linked to the indicators for assessing the effectiveness of universities. For the purposes of assessing the extent of the teachers load «afternoon» universities are recommended to assess all types of works related to it, in academic hours, as well as to regulate the amount and the approximate structure of this type of load for each category of the teaching staff of the University. The article suggests areas and specific indicators for the achievement of which it i sexpedient to establish incentive payments.
