The article deals with introducing of necessity of light emitted diodes (LED) in a lighting sphere, the advantages of LED products compared with incandescent lamps and luminaires. There are 2013 year’s statistics data of LED lighting’s world market amount. Identifying the enterprises producing and supplying LED products to European market – there are 7 enterprises. The enterprises analyzed with method of competitive groups strategic card and M. Porter’s five forces model. There are arguments for choosing these way to analyze the LED products enterprises on European market: 1) research’s complex – due to some important criteria during enterprises’ analysis; 2) visualization of results presented – in a strategic groups’ card and in a table of main market’s forces influence for analyzed enterprise. Based on achieved results there are suggestions for forming a new business – strategy improving the Russian LED products enterprise’ position on European market.
