The information of the effectiveness of working capital use in food industry was brougth in this article. The objectives of working assets management during the process of receipt and leaving of working capital were considered in the article. By the example of generalized data the policy of working capital management in food industry was analysed. A number of measures of increasing of the effectiveness of working capital management were offered. Thus, the potential of increasing of the effectiveness of working capital management exists, which consists in the capacity of enterprises for introducing measures of expenses reduction. The achievement of the potential is attained due to main objectives reaching such as providing the company’s solvency.
