DYNAMICS OF COMPETITIVE POSITIONS OF THE RUSSIAN REGIONS OVER THE 1995–2010 YEARS

Article continues the author’s study of competitiveness of the Russian regions. On the basis of the methodology suggested by the author studied the state and dynamics of competitive advantages of Russian regions.The concept of competitiveness and its characteristic Introduces s. The technique of calculation of the index of competitiveness of the regions is discussed. The calculations of the system of intermediate indicators required for the indexand summary index of competitiveness of the regions for the 1995–2010 performed. The analysis of the dynamics of the competitive positions of the regionsand the direction of the dynamics performed. The core of the 10 most and 10 of the least competitive Russian regions defined. The changes in the industrial structure of the regions determined. The systematization of the competitive positions of the regions is made.
