When selecting indicators of the sustainable development at the municipal level, the most appropriate is the use of a system of indicators that cover various aspects of sustainable development. The use of complex variables, such as the human development index, the true savings, natural capital is calculated only at the regional level, and that there are difficulties in the practical use. To assess the stability of the adaptive model should be used, taking into account the contribution to the economic, social, environmental and institutional component of the overall index for each rural settlement. Integrated assessment provides an objective assessment of the sustainability of rural areas with a view to adjusting the socio-economic policies, development of measures aimed at reducing the negative impact of external factors and internal environment, as well as explore ways to improve the stability of the regional socio-economic systems.
