TRANSFORMATION OF LABOR, NEW SERVICES AND CHALLENGES OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE MODERN ECONOMY

The relevance of this topic is justified profound transformation in the modern economy. This transformation is conditioned transformation of knowledge into the most important economic resource and occurs simultaneously in several areas affecting both the structure of the economy and the quality of the process of producing goods and services. The article is devoted to the relationship between the development of the service sector, a new quality of work and tasks of higher education. The main trend of the fundamental transformation of the labor process in the present conditions is identified and disclosed. Intellectualization of labor and personalization of demand are considered as a prerequisite for the development and emergence of new types of knowledge-intensive service activities. Justified position that now the main purpose of higher education is to prepare a specialist who can ensure the smooth functioning of the system of creation, conversion, transfer and commercialization of knowledge by engaging students in the process of creating the results of intellectual activity.
