This paper addresses the problem of improving the competitiveness of universities and the implementation of innovative entrepreneurship.The competitiveness of the university is seen as a complex, multifaceted category, which has no clear interpretation. It is shown that the competitiveness of universities increasingly depend on their ability to combine the educational process and practice of development and introduction of advanced technology, equipment, management, innovation, knowledge creation and conversion into capital The paper presents the concept of improving the competitiveness of the university through the implementation of innovation entrepreneurship. The authors is offered interpretation mechanisms of improving the competitiveness of universities. Substantiates the need to detection of determining factors in the implementation of innovation entrepreneurship.
