Анализ и оценка развития кооперативной системы аграрного сектора экономики дает возможность опре¬делить сложность ее структуры, которая подтверждается составом ее многочисленных участников. Выделе¬ны отличительные признаки и преимущества сельскохозяйственных кооперативов по сравнению с другими видами сельскохозяйственных организаций, обеспечивающие экономический рост в АПК, повышение соци¬ального статуса сельского населения, способствующие сохранению населенных пунктов и развитию сельских территорий, что и определяет важное место и значение кооперативной системы в аграрном секторе экономики. Выявлены основные направления государственного регулирования развития кооперации в АПК и факторы, сдерживающие развитие кооперации сельских товаропроизводителей. Автор приходит к выводу, что проблемы развития и совершенствования кооперативной системы аграрного сектора экономики не могут быть комплек¬сно, быстро и эффективно решены в масштабах страны, с использованием только действующих инструментов, поэтому назрела необходимость разработки и принятия специальной программы по развитию кооперации на сельских территориях.

Analysis and assessment of the development of the cooperative system of agrarian sector of economy enables to define the complexity of its structure, which is confirmed by the composition of its numerous participants. Highlighted features and benefits of agricultural cooperatives in comparison with other kinds agricultural organizations providing economic growth in agriculture, increase of the social status of the rural population, contributing to the preservation of settlements and rural development, which determines the important place and importance of the cooperative system in the agrarian sector of economy. Basic directions of the state regulation of development of cooperation in agriculture and the factors restraining the development of cooperatives rural producers. The author comes to the conclusion that the problems of development and improvement of the cooperative system of the agricultural sector cannot be in a complex, rapidly and effectively solved in the country, using only existing instruments, therefore there is need for the development and adoption of a special programmer on cooperative development in rural areas.
