Рассмотрены проблемы, связанные с загрязнением окружающей среды. Показано, что в последнее время в связи с ускорением темпов научно-технического прогресса наблюдаются явные признаки экологического кри¬зиса, проявляющегося в деградации окружающей среды, обеднении генетического фонда планеты, истощении природно-ресурсного потенциала и в конечном итоге – ухудшение качества жизни населения. Определена воз¬можность решения экологических проблем с переходом к «зеленой экономике». Рассмотрен международный опыт внедрения элементов экологической сертификации. Уточнены цели экологической сертификации. Вы¬явлено, что актуальная сфера экологической сертификации – отходы. Сертификация в этой области направлена на устранение опасного влияния отходов на среду обитания и максимального их использования в качестве вторичного сырья. Сделаны выводы о важности внедрения механизмов экологической сертификации в России.

The problems connected with environmental pollution are considered. It is shown that recently in connection with acceleration of rates of scientific and technical progress obvious signs of the ecological crisis which is showing in degradation of environment, impoverishment of genetic fund of a planet, exhaustion of natural and resource potential and finally – deterioration of life of the population are observed. Possibility of the solution of environmental problems with transition to «green economy» is defined. The international experience of introduction of elements of ecological certification is considered. The purposes of ecological certification are specified. It is revealed that the actual sphere of ecological certification – waste. Certification in this area is directed on elimination of dangerous influence of waste on habitat and their maximum use as secondary raw materials. Conclusions are drawn on importance of introduction of mechanisms of ecological certification in Russia.
